Subscribe to Newsletter Message from the Vice Provost for Values and Leadership At Yeshiva University, leadership means more when it is values-based. Our undergraduate and graduate education prepares students for success in their studies and their respective vocations of choice, while creating the expectation that they also serve their own communities and their country as upstanding citizens. The Torah, Jewish history, and our Jewish heroes emphasize the importance that one individual can make in creating and sustaining a vision and leading people there. We help our students forge meaningful connections to each other, to faculty mentors, to entrepreneurial lay leaders, and to the core values that shape their education. We look forward to studying and learning with you and from you through educational opportunities, events, discussions, interviews and social media channels. Please join us for conversations that matter. “Education is the single greatest key to human dignity.” Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks Bio | Sacks-Herenstein Center | Sacks Book Prize Sacks Book Prize The Rabbi Sacks Book Prize is awarded to an author of a recently published or about to be published work of Jewish ideas deeply sourced in Jewish texts, with broad appeal within and beyond the Jewish community.
