An Oklahoma native, Traci Tullius received a BFA in painting from the University of Oklahoma in 1998, and an MFA in New Genres from the University of Kansas in 2001. After attending the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2002, Tullius relocated to New York City, where she is Associate Professor of Art and head of the Studio Art program at Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University. She has been a resident in The Space Program of the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Councilʼs Workspace Program, a Critic in Video at Yale University School of Art, and is a NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) Fellow in Cross-Disciplinary/Performative Work..
