Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and Data Science

Welcome to the CAPS Community for Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and Data Science - a place where you will find connections and partnerships for success with career advisors, faculty, and alumni. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) 2019–29 employment projections show that occupations in the STEM fields are expected to grow 8.0 percent by 2029, compared with 3.7 percent for all occupations.

Students in this community are exploring careers such as Data Scientists, Systems Architects, Software Developers, Mechanical Engineers, Actuaries, and in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence.

Yeshiva University’s rigorous curriculum prepares you with strengths that are especially relevant to these areas and this community will provide you with the professional connections and partnerships you need. You are encouraged to get started by engaging with your CAPS Community Career Advisor by scheduling an appointment in Yeshiva University Career Link (YUCL) to meet with Beth Bernhardt or John Perez, the CAPS Community Advisors for Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and Data Science.
