In a recent virtual panel discussion hosted by the Association of Caribbean Social Work Educators, Dr. Blackman and Ph.D. student Annette Clarke-Jones tackled an extremely timely challenge in our field: "Reimagining Grief and Loss in a Pandemic: Aging, Caring and Bereavement." The panel presented research and insights into grief and loss experiences of older adults, caregiving challenges and ways to overcome adversity during the pandemic.

Our Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) credentialing program provides specialized training for social work professionals who wish to provide substance abuse counseling services.

A variety of Continuing Education programs offered online, in person, and at various locations throughout the New York City area make it easy for social workers to stay up to date on the latest trends in social work and develop new skills.

Our 12-credit, online Aging and Palliative Care Certificate for Interfaith Clergy prepares spiritual leaders and clergy-in-training/seminary students of all religious traditions to deliver compassionate care to older adults and those facing serious illness.

Our Master of Social Work — Israel Block program enables graduates of the program to get licensed in both the United States and Israel.
