Welcome

As Yeshiva University’s provost, I am fortunate to work with a team of talented and dedicated faculty and staff who devote themselves to students, to discovery, and to nurturing a remarkable intellectual community.  Like Abigail Adams, they are committed to the belief that learning is not attained by chance, but rather sought after with ardor and attended to with diligence. They value the life of the mind and also respect the importance of applying knowledge to real world purposes.

Yeshiva combines a commitment to time-honored Jewish learning with a fervent commitment to secular academic excellence and achievement in the liberal arts and sciences as well as in professional studies. In our academic community, we take pride in transforming  students’ lives and in preparing them for leadership roles in society and in the professions. Our students thrive in a wide array of fields and are a testament to the power of a Yeshiva education. Of course, this would not be possible without our gifted faculty, whose scholarship and research are both innovative and highly respected and who also devote time  to mentoring students through grant-funded activities.

We invite you to explore our website at www.yu.edu. You will find faculty who are refreshing their curricula and designing new degrees; students whose cutting-edge knowledge and advanced skills make them market ready and well prepared to enter their careers of choice; and remarkable staff who provide tireless support to both students and faculty.

Yeshiva University is a thriving community dedicated to higher learning. I invite you to get to know us.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
