President Ari Berman Leads Strong YU Contingent at the Celebrate Israel Parade

After three years away, the JCRC-NY Celebrate Israel Parade returned in full force on Sunday, May 22, 2022, and Yeshiva University students, faculty, alumni and staff, led by Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, President of the University, proudly marched along Fifth Avenue in New York City.

Contingents from Yeshiva College, Stern College for Women, the Sy Syms School of Business, the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and The Albert Einstein College of Medicine paraded along with hundreds of students from YU’s high schools, the Yeshiva University High School for Girls – Central and The Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy/Yeshiva University High School for Boys as they applauded the 74th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.
The delegation from YU was proud to join approximately 40,000 supporters of Israel participating in and watching the parade and was a visible demonstration of YU’s continued dedication to the Jewish state and the promotion of one of YU’s five core Torah values, Torat Tzion.
