Dr. Daniel Beliavsky, professor and department chair of fine arts and music at Yeshiva University, will deliver a lecture and recital in the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, 111 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, New York on November 12 at 6:00 p.m. During the program, Beliavsky will examine Western tonality’s significance through works by Schubert, Chopin, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, and David Del Tredici. Admission is free.
