National case competition team members (L-R): Ben Winters ’27SB, Menukhah Yaghoubzar ’27SB and Kobi Hirt ’27SB. They worked on a case for LittleOne.Care.

TAMID at YU’s team placed 2nd in the TAMID Group National Case Competition, competing against 60 universities! This marks the forth time Yeshiva University has placed in the national competition, showcasing our students’ strategic thinking and business acumen.

Reflecting on the experience, Menukhah Yaghoubzar ’27SB, a member of the winning team, said, "It was an incredible opportunity to dive into the case and develop a unique strategy for LittleOne.Care. Our victory would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our mentors at YU TAMID."

The team, part of TAMID’s Fall 2024 Education Track, worked on a case for LittleOne.Care, an AI-driven baby-monitoring company. Their winning recommendation? Strategic partnerships with local hospitals, pediatric centers and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to expand market share and establish LittleOne.Care as an industry leader.

Huge congratulations as well to the other talented team members, Benjamin Winters ’27SB, Kobi Hirt ’27SB and their mentor, Elan Goldstein ’26YC, for this incredible achievement!

Full speech of John Vasquez, Program Manager at TAMID, before presenting the YU TAMID team with their award:

At TAMID, we value continuous education and personal growth. We believe that our chapters should inspire their members to constantly seek new knowledge, embrace challenges, and dedicate themselves to both professional and personal development. Tonight,  we are recognizing one chapter that has not only exemplified these qualities consistently but has also gone above and beyond in creating a culture where learning is integrated into everything they do.

This chapter has demonstrated a relentless commitment to providing its members with real-world learning opportunities. Its leadership consistently encourages a hands-on approach to education, ensuring that members have the chance to apply their knowledge in practical settings. Over the years, they have fostered a learning environment where intellectual curiosity and personal growth go hand in hand.

Members in this chapter speak highly of the opportunities they've received—whether it's leveraging professional networks, engaging with the Israeli startup ecosystem, or developing skills that are directly applicable to their careers. One member said, “Every professional opportunity I’ve landed since then can be attributed to TAMID—whether through the knowledge I gained or the network I had access to. I’ve always been grateful to TAMID and knew I wanted to give back.”

Their approach is not only about gaining knowledge; it’s about creating tangible results. As another member shared, “TAMID provides me with opportunities to learn more about careers I may pursue and the world of the Israeli economy, but it also gives me the chance to put my knowledge into practice. At the end of the day, I want to be able to point to a concrete, completed project, and be able to say that I helped do it and these are the effects of my work.”

This chapter has consistently delivered strong educational outcomes, winning two prestigious Project Simulation/Case Competitions and consistently submitting high-quality work. But what truly sets them apart is their belief in “learning by doing.” They give their members not only the theoretical tools to succeed but the practical experiences to back them up.

Today, we are proud to present the Continuous Learning Award to the Yeshiva University chapter. Their dedication to creating a culture of accountability, resilience, collaboration, and growth has not only shaped their members' educational journeys but has also prepared them for long-term success, both within TAMID and beyond.

We now ask that all delegates from TAMID at Yeshiva University please come up to accept this award.

YU’s TAMID Chapter Approved to Launch Prestigious Financial Consulting Track for First Time in School History

L-R: Heads of the Financial Consulting Track Morris Tawil ’26SB, Daniel Weiss ’26SB and Seth Coronel ’25SB.

For the first time in Yeshiva University history, its TAMID chapter has been approved to launch a Financial Consulting Track!
⁣
With less than a ~10% approval rate last semester and YU being the only school chapter approved to launch the track this semester, we could not be prouder of our student leaders at TAMID at YU, which is hosted as an official club within Sy Syms. ⁣
⁣
“The Financial Consulting Track will provide YU students interested in finance and investment banking with real-world, hands-on experience by performing technical work for Israeli companies,” shares Liorah Yaghoubzar ’25SB, an accounting and finance double-major who serves as president of TAMID at YU and our Sy Syms Beren Campus Honors Committee. “This is a groundbreaking opportunity that enhances our campus’s financial education infrastructure and positions YU as a leader in providing practical career opportunities.” ⁣
⁣
“For the first time, YU students will have the ability to operate as financial consultants for Israeli startup companies,” shares an excited Daniel Weiss ’26SB, TAMID at YU’s director of financial consulting. ⁣
⁣
The case study submitted to earn the track approval was spearheaded by Director of Financial Consulting Daniel Weiss ’26SB with help from Morris Tawil ’26SB and advised by Co-President Moshe Seth Coronel ’25SB. The Financial Consulting team will be further staffed by Hillel Baynash ’26SB, Robert Okun ’26SB and Salvador Serfaty ’26SB.⁣
⁣
Congratulations to our TAMID at YU chapter for this remarkable accomplishment! ⁣
