Shoshana Fogelman, Student Leader at Stern College for Women

Shoshana Fogelman
One thing is for sure: Shoshana Fogelman ’24S has been a very busy student while at Stern College for Women. Over the past two years, she’s been Director of Social Engagements and Director of Logistics of TAMID at YU; Section Manager at the yearly Seforim sale; a tour guide and student ambassador for YU Admissions; and a justice on YU’s Constitutional Council.  Majoring in psychology with a minor in Jewish Studies, Fogelman hopes to pursue a master’s degree in either industrial psychology or business management, and one day work in Human Resources project management.  She’s been busy outside of YU as well. Over the past two years, she completed an HR internship at Delta Galil Headquarters in Israel, was head of all social media of NCSY’s Hatzalah Rescue summer program, and this past summer, was assistant to the director of Camp Moshava in Indian Orchard, Pennsylvania. In addition, she’s been very involved with an organization close to her heart, Bnei Akiva, as a volunteer and member of its national board. In fact, Fogelman looks forward to making aliya in the near future.  Of her experience at Stern, Fogelman says, “I am so grateful for all the opportunities YU has to offer. There are networking connections from YU alumni in almost every field of work imaginable, amazing clubs to join and participate in, an unmatched career center available to help with any question or connection, and fantastic student activities all year long." She also enjoys the University’s many Torah-learning opportunities, including the beit midrash and “the constant, positive atmosphere of Torah learning and growth.” She’s made many friends while at Stern, loves the camaraderie and support they provide, and appreciates how “everyone inspires each other here and lifts each other up.”
