On Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, New York State Assemblymember Marcos Crespo, who represents the 85th Assembly District (the Soundview, Clason Point, Longwood, and Hunts Point sections of the South Bronx), visited the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy/Yeshiva University High School for Boys.
Crespo spoke to Rabbi Josh Kahn, head of school, and Josh Josephs, Yeshiva University senior vice president, about the importance of an education that also teaches strong moral values.
He then took a tour of the STEM labs and talked with students about how their education in technology can contribute to improving the world, and even got to take a student-built robot for a spin.
