This past Sunday, current and incoming parents were invited to a special "Meet & Greet" with incoming Head of School Rabbi Josh Kahn. After davening with the students in the Beis Medrash and partaking of a light breakfast, the parents headed up to the fourth floor Lecture Hall. Our Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Taubes introduced Rabbi Kahn who then shared a brief Torah thought. After this, Shuey Jacoby presented Rabbi Kahn with the questions that parents had submitted in advance. Rabbi Kahn spoke of his educational and career history, relayed his thoughts and both his short and long term plans, and shared his vision for the future. Rabbi Kahn also brought a personal touch, sharing some more interesting information about himself; we learned that as a child he wanted to be a baseball player at first, and then was always interested in finance. Fortunately, his favorite sports team is the MTA Lions! We look forward to once again welcoming Rabbi Kahn to MTA this coming week; he plans on spending another full day this coming Tuesday.
