    Printing at Einstein

Einstein library offers networked printing wired and wirelessly through a print management system for registered users, ONLY in black and white single sided or duplex. Color printing is currently unavailable.
As part of the Paperless Curriculum initiative, Einstein students are given $50 credit per semester for the print allowance.
The student printing accounts are created by the library using the barcode number on the Einstein picture ID card. The user ID and the default password are set to the person’s last name. All other faculty members or guests can open up printing accounts with the Value-added kiosk in the library Beren Study center.
For wired printing one can use the computers in the Beren Study Center.
Users can also send the print jobs wirelessly via the YUWireless network from their laptops and the jobs will be released on the printers located in the Beren Study center or a different group of printers sitting in the Sonia Gruen Study room (located on the 1st floor of Forcheimer lobby).
In order to take advantage of wireless printing capabilities, the computer has to be configured with the OCS wireless software.
This software is available for both PC and Mac and can be found on the Academic Computing OCS wireless setup instructions page.
Two heavy duty photocopiers are also available in the library adjacent to the reception desk which also shares the printing accounts for debiting fees.
Users should contact the library circulation desk for printing or copying related issues.
