Glassman Wins Award

Paul GlassmanPaul Glassman, director of University libraries and adjunct instructor of architectural history and design, has won the Worldwide Books Award for Publications from the Art Libraries Society of North America for The Handbook of Art and Design Librarianship, co-authored with Judy Dyki, director of library and academic resources at Cranbrook Academy of Art. The award recognizes outstanding publications in librarianship or visual resources curatorship and the arts. The book features case studies and library profiles as benchmarks for developing facilities, methods for teaching and learning with special collections, and instructional design through meta-literacies and cultural differences, among other topics.
