On April 19 – 20, 2018, Yeshiva University Director of International Student and Scholar Services Jennifer Golden presented at the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) forum, “Faith-Based Universities and Internationalization: Balancing Mission and Market Realities.” Golden was one of four senior international officers invited to present 30-minute close-up sessions, addressing how a university’s institutional faith profile defines its internationalization strategy and impacts internationalization efforts. Golden also served on a four-person panel, responding to questions about faith-based higher education and the international student experience. The conference drew an international audience of university professionals, including university presidents, administrators, faculty, researchers and graduate students. Golden was invited to present by Boston College’s Center for International Higher Education (CIHE). Her presentation and other content from the conference will be published in International Higher Education, the CIHE’s quarterly journal, in the fall of 2018.
