Wurzweiler Team a Presence at SSWR Conference

A team of educators and students from YU’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work (WSSW) presented at this year’s Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) conference. The SSWR annual meeting is the leading research conference for social work.  This year’s event included more than 500 symposia, workshops, roundtables, paper and poster presentations. It was held at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C., January 10 - 14.

WSSW professors Dr. Charles Auerbach, Dr. Matthew Cuellar and Dr. Susan Mason, along with doctoral students Christine Vyshedsky, Bonnie Pollack and Catesby Buteau traveled to Washington to represent their school. They presented on a variety of topics ranging from school safety to bullying in schools to latent variable modeling with statistical software called R. Auerbach and Dr. Melissa Pullman also presented original qualitative research on Holocaust survivors.
