Liesl Schwabe, lecturer in English and director of the Yeshiva College Writing Program, published a personal essay on teenagers and consumerism in Salon, "A Weird, Wonderful, Tiny Place: An Interview with Rufi Thorpe” in Publisher’s Weekly and reviews of Marilynne Robison's The Givenness of Things and Christine Toomey’s In Search of the Buddha's Daughters in Tricycle: The Buddhist Review. This fall, The Akron Anthology will publish “BF,” an essay she wrote about her hometown, and "Visiting Crime Scenes: An Interview with Patrick Hoffman" will appear in Publishers Weekly.
