Sources that may be accessed through WRDS include: Compustat, CRSP, and NYSE TAQ. Current faculty, staff, research assistants, and graduate students at Yeshiva University may register for a WRDS account. Faculty may also request class accounts.     Getting Started with WRDS

    What is WRDS?
    Wharton Research Database Services is a comprehensive web-based data management system to retrieve information from financial, economic, and marketing data sources. Sources that may be accessed through WRDS include: Compustat, CRSP, NYSE TAQ. WRDS is intended solely for research and instructional purposes. Eligibility for Access
    Current faculty, staff, research assistants, and graduate students at Yeshiva University may register for a WRDS account. Faculty may also request class accounts.

    Requesting an account:

    1. Click on http://wrds-web.wharton.upenn.edu/wrds/?register=1.
    2. Complete the registration form and click SUBMIT.
    3. Check your account information for accuracy and click CONTINUE REGISTRATION.
    4. Read the WRDS Terms of Use Statement and click I AGREE.
    5. A Yeshiva University librarian will receive an email regarding your account request and verify your identity and eligibility for an account.
    6. Once your account request is approved, WRDS will send you an e-mail with instructions for creating a password.

    Accessing WRDS: Once you have a WRDS account, sign in.
