Security Council (SC)

The Security Council of the United Nations is the branch of the United Nations that is responsible for maintaining international peace and security. They are the principal governing body of the world for matters concerning international security, and therefore the most exclusive. The international importance of every issue that arises on the Council’s agenda mandates the attendance of a delegation from every member country at every meeting.
