1540 - Terrorism Prevention

1540, a United Nations Security Council sub-committee was established via the resolution of the same name.  Affirming that proliferation of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, as well as their means of delivery, constitutes a threat to international peace and security, the committee's mission is to directly address that threat, and the threat of terrorism, accordingly.
