TORAH UMADDA | DUAL-DEGREE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS | ISRAEL

TORAH UMADDA

The singularity of the Yeshiva University education derives from its dual curriculum. Torah instruction and study provides a spiritual, moral, and ethical foundation for education in the liberal arts, sciences, and business.

Yeshiva University offers preëminent programs in Torah studies for undergraduate students of every background and at every level of experience and expertise.

The men of Yeshiva College and Sy Syms School of Business select from four distinct Jewish studies options at our Washington Heights Wilf Campus.

The women of Stern College for Women and Sy Syms School of Business choose from two Jewish studies programs at our Murray Hill Beren Campus.

Designed to deepen students’ ethical and philosophical insights, YU’s undergraduate Jewish studies programs provide valuable training in rigorous thought, exposure to research methods, and opportunities for independent study. They afford exposure to the beauty of Torah study and the depth of Jewish tradition.

No other institution so thoroughly embraces the integration of mind and spirit that defines and distinguishes the YU student. If this is who you are, if this is what you value, there is no other place for you.

ISRAEL

For those who choose to begin their YU education in Israel, the S. Daniel Abraham Israel Program provides structure, support, and community.

DUAL-DEGREE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Dual degree programs at YU’s renowned graduate and professional schools are available for undergraduate women and men.

For those who wish to take their Jewish studies to the highest levels, Yeshiva University’s schools and affiliates include Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, the Western Hemisphere’s leading center for Torah learning and training for the rabbinate; the Philip and Sarah Belz School of Jewish Music, offering cantorial certificates and diplomas; the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies; and the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration.

In Fall 2009, Yeshiva University welcomes its first class of students to Stern College for Women’s Master of Arts Program in Biblical and Talmudic Interpretation, offered under the auspices of the Rebecca Ivry Department of Jewish Studies. YU also offers a Graduate Program for Women in Advanced Talmudic Study.
