Michael Ginzberg Dean Michael Ginzberg  
Michael Ginzberg, a nationally prominent expert and prolific author on management information systems and the international aspects of business, was named dean of Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University on July 16, 2007.

GregSmall Rachel Stern 
Rachel Stern is a Junior majoring in International Business and Pre-Law. Ms. Stern is from Los Angeles and attended Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles (YULA) and she graduated in 2006 with Honors.

GregSmall Arianne Thaler 
Arianne Thaler is a Senior with an Accounting Major and an Art minor. Ms. Thaler, a native of Queens, went to YUHSG (central) and then to Midreshet Moriah.

Chana Etengoff 
Chana Etengoff is a marketing major who graduated from SSSB in May 2006. Chana plans to attend graduate school to earn a doctorate in psychology, and has recently secured a position at the Pediatric Cancer Ward at Winthrop University Hospital.

Martin Leibowitz Professor of Accounting
Dr. Leibowitz holds the Joseph Kerzner Chair in Accounting. He has been a full-time faculty member at SSSB since 1995 and teaches Principles of Accounting I and II, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Managerial Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Auditing, Principles of Finance, and Securities Analysis.

  Dani Eckstein 
Dani Eckstein from West Hempstead, NY, came to Sy Syms after spending a year and a half at Yeshivat Shaari Mevaseret Tzion in Israel. He majored in Finance and was extremely active in the Sy Syms School of Business where he dealt with many academic and student issues.

Lea Small2  Leah Stromer Assistant to the Dean
A 1982 Stern College alumna, Leah (Witty) Stromer works as the assistant to the Dean on the Beren Campus in the Sy Syms School of Business. A CPA by training, Ms. Stromer started her career on the audit staff of KPMG Peat Marwick and left the firm as senior audit manager.

Mr. Sy Syms
Founder SSSB & Syms Corp.
 
Founder and chairman of the board of Syms Corp., Sy Syms opened his first Syms store in 1960 in lower Manhattan and revolutionized the concept of "off price" clothing stores.

GregSmall Greg Eliason 
Greg Eliason, a student from Cape Town, South Africa came to YU to receive a well-rounded education. Greg was a dual major in the Accounting and Finance programs, and in the mornings he learnt in the Mazer Yeshiva Program.
