Students in the Sy Syms School of Business Master of Science in Accounting Program will complete ten courses, which include one elective and two courses that can be taken as an undergraduate: Individual Taxation and Taxation of Entities.

The required courses include:

  • Accounting Information Systems
  • Advanced Auditing
  • Business Ethics/Corporate Responsibility
  • Business Leadership, Contemporary Topics in Accounting
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Governmental/Not-For-Profit Accounting
  • Contemporary Topics in Accounting

One elective must be chosen from the following: Advanced Managerial Accounting, Advanced Taxation, Business Valuation, and Forensic Accounting.
