The Yeshiva University Undergraduate Dining Club is designed to give students greater convenience, accessibility, and money management in the dining halls and other Dining Services facilities located on the Main and Beren Campuses. Here's how it works:

To Become a Member

The Dining Club is mandatory for undergraduate students residing in University Housing. The current amount per semester is $1375.00 billed in advance by the Office of Student Finances. Students not enrolled in the mandatory plan do have the option of a voluntary plan, which allows the student to put money on his/her card in increments of $100. Upon admittance to Yeshiva University, each student will receive an electronically encoded photo ID card, which is also his or her Dining Club card. This card is non-transferable and can only be used for purchases by the student.

Declining Balance Program

The Dining Club is a declining balance program, which operates similarly to a bank checking account when a withdrawal is made. Each time a student uses his/her Dining Club card to make a purchase, the amount of that purchase, is displayed on the patron display and is deducted automatically from the balance in the account. Any balance in an account at the end of the first semester will be carried over to the second semester automatically. Any balance must be used by the end of the second semester, as there are no refunds.

Up-To-Date Balancing

The student will always know the balance in his or her account. Whenever a purchase is made, the adjusted available balance in the account is displayed on the register and purchase receipt. Moreover, each student will be notified whenever the balance in his/her account drops below $100. Once an account is opened, it can be augmented at any time by additional deposits of $100 or more. Any balance in the account at the end of the 1st semester will be automatically carried over to the 2nd semester. The balance must be used by the end of the 2nd semester. There are no refunds. The Dining Club card is also accepted at our Convenience Stores.
