  • We are proud to have these fabulous women as Madrichot Ruchaniot on campus. Each woman is here once a week and is available to talk about whatever you want. Whether you want to talk about your classes, personal life, spiritual issues, religious concerns or future plans, these women are here for you! They are located in 245 Lexington Avenue in Room 104 Monday to Wednesday evenings. Stop by for a minute or an hour, they'd love to meet you!

    Ms. Malka Schenker holds an MA from New York Medical College in physical therapy as well as an MA from Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School. Malka lectures at Partners in Torah, Ateres Seminary-Columbia University, HASC Summer Program on many topics including Parsha, Jewish Holidays, Pirkey Avot, Women in Tanach, Tefilla and Tehillim. As a Stern alumna, she is very excited to join the team of women working as Madrichot Ruchaniot.

    Ms. Regine Tessoneis a NY-based fashion designer and graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has become the inspirational and creative source of modest swimwear. She is the designer of the original line of modest swimwear for ladies and girls named Aqua Modesta. Regine also has extensive experience as a teacher in the area of informal Jewish education and is an excellent motivator to women of all ages. She is of Judeo Persian descent, having been born in Iran, and speaks Farsi, Hebrew, English and French. Regine is currently working at Stern College for Women as Madricha Ruchani every Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Please feel free to come learn, advise with or just shmooze with her. She is at the Beren Campus, Room 104, located in Stanton Hall, 245 Lexington Ave Lobby.
