The Academic Advising Center provides guidance and information to students as they adjust to university life and complete their degrees. General and major advisers assist students' transition to college, explore the curriculum and identify personal interests and goals. As part of a network of campus resources, academic advisers can direct students to appropriate student support services.

The Office of Academic Support empowers all students to become independent, self-aware and confident learners. Students can improve skills such as critical reading, time management, note-taking, memory and test preparation. In addition, students are invited to participate in study skill workshops designed to help facilitate a smooth academic transition to college.
The Beren and Wilf Writing Centers provide free, one-on-one tutoring on all types of writing, from composition essays and graduate school applications to marketing papers and lab reports. Our tutors are specially selected and trained students from a variety of majors as well as faculty writing consultants.
