Evening Local Shuttle Service
Sunday to Thursday - Hours of operation are from 5:00 PM until 1:00 AM. Last train run departs Brookdale Residence Hall at 11:15 PM. After 1:00 AM - Local Pick-ups are on an on call basis.
Shuttles transport passengers on a scheduled basis between Beren Campus buildings and to/from local authorized train destinations. See schedule posted in the lobby of each building.
Saturday service starts 15 minutes after Shabbos until 1:00 AM and service is on an on call basis.
Pick Up/ Drop Off Locations for Subways - Trains - Buses
- 34TH Street 6th/7th/8th Avenue Subway Stations
- Penn Station
- FIT (WHEN CLASSES IN SESSION) Departs at 5:55 pm from 245 Lex Ave.
- Port Authority Bus Terminal 41st/8th Ave. (SATURDAY, SUNDAY & FRIDAY ONLY)
- Grand Central Station 42nd St/Park Ave. (SUNDAY & FRIDAY ONLY)
FRIDAY SCHEDULE (10:00 AM until Shabbat)
Local Shuttle will transport passengers from other Beren buildings to Brookdale R.H. for the following departures:
- From Brookdale R.H. to 6th/7th/8th Ave Subway Stations/Penn Station/Grand Central/Port Authority.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON SCHEDULE (12 NOON until 5:00PM)
On call pickups from Port Authority, Subways, Grand Central and Penn Station
Wilf Campus
Local Shuttle Service
From 7:00 AM until 10 AM Sunday to Friday - Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from the:
“A” Train- (184th St/Overlook Terrace)
- GW Bridge Bus Terminal (179th St & Ft. Washington). The GW Bridge Shuttle will then stop at the 1 & 9 Trains (182nd ST & St. Nicholas Ave) a few minutes later.
- From 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Sundays and from 10 AM until Shabbos on Fridays – Departures from YU Bus Shelter to above transportation locations and other authorized pick up/drop off locations on an on call basis.
- From 4 PM until 1 AM Sunday to Thursday - Shuttles are on an on call basis to local authorized pick up/drop off locations. From 1 am until 7 am Sunday to Friday morning there is limited local service available on an on call basis.
- 15 minutes after Shabbos on Saturday night until 7 am Sunday - Shuttles are on an on call basis with limited on call basis service after 1 AM.

- 8:00 AM: Departing from 186TH St & Amsterdam Ave if space is available after Talmud Program passengers' board.
- 4:15 PM / 4:30 & 4:45 PM (FROM 245 LEX AVE.)
- 5:45 PM: Departing from 245 Lex Ave if space is available after Talmud Program passengers board.
FRIDAY Inter-Campus Shuttle Service
- At 10:30 AM / 11:30 AM / 12:30 PM & 1:30 PM - Shuttle will depart Wilf Campus for Port Authority, Penn Station and Brookdale Residence Hall.
- At 11:30 AM / 12:30 PM / 1:30 PM & 2:30 PM - Shuttle will depart Brookdale Residence Hall for return trip to the Wilf Campus.
SATURDAY Inter-Campus Shuttle Service
- Commences from both the Wilf and Beren campuses with the scheduled run that starts at least 45 minutes after Shabbat ends.
- Example: If Shabbat ends at 8:35 PM, runs will starts with the 9:30 PM scheduled run.
- NOTE: Service will never start before 6:00 PM
