Starting Fall 2009, the Rebecca Ivry Department of Jewish Studies at Stern College will be offering a Master of Arts program in Biblical and Talmudic Interpretation.  This program is available to qualified students with extensive background in advanced Jewish Studies.  It is an opportunity to experience advanced Jewish learning while earning a Master of Arts degree.

The program consists of two tracks, one with an emphasis on Tanakh study and the other with an emphasis on Talmud.  Each track will require two classes in the other discipline, with the remainder of the classes for the degree in the chosen field.   The Tanakh track will meet for two full days each week; the Talmud track will meet for four days each week.
