Announcing our New Car Service Vendor - Vital Transportation

Procurement Services solicited competitive bids for our University wide car service needs.  After careful deliberation, we have chosen Vital Transportation Inc. effective November 1, 2009.   Vital has been in business since 1983.  They are a full service company providing 450 luxury sedans, plus vans and limousines. Vital is servicing all campuses of Fordham University.  They are located in Long Island City so until they build their base in the Bronx, trips from that campus will need to be scheduled in advance, allowing at least 30 minutes for your car to arrive.   Vital will be providing a dedicated customer service representative and an on-line booking tool.  Their rates are very competitive and tips are not included or accepted.  For many zones, they are considerably less expensive (see attached rate sheet).  If you are interested in changing to this new service you must cancel you current purchase order and issue a new one to Vital.  Upon receipt in Procurement, we will establish your account.  If you have any questions, please contact Erina Fontana at 718-430-2333.  You can check out the company by visiting http://www.govital.com/   We look forward to doing business with Vital and hope that your car service experience will improve.
