Parking
Parking in New York is a challenge. To help meet that challenge, Yeshiva University offers as many solutions as possible. On the Wilf Campus, University staff expecting visitors must arrange for reserved parking spaces through campus security. This arrangement should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the visit. For heavily attended events, such as lectures, conferences, or basketball games, overflow parking is handled by commercial parking lots in the neighborhood.
The main commercial parking lot serving the Wilf Campus is Empire State Garage, located on Amsterdam Avenue at 183rd Street.
As on the Wilf Campus, parking for visitors to the Midtown, Brookdale, and Jack and Pearl Resnick campuses is arranged primarily by those departments expecting visitors. Several commercial lots are conveniently located.
Short-term visitors (one day or less) to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) and Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology (FGS) on the Resnick Campus are advised to notify their hosts ahead of time so parking can be assured. Otherwise, visitors may use the indoor parking lot under the Morris Park Avenue housing complex across from AECOM. Entrance to that garage, managed by Kinney Parking systems, is at 1975 Eastchester Road. Hours of operation are from 7 am until 8 pm. The garage will remain open later, if necessary, and additional fees will not be assessed.
Current parking rates are:
½ hour or less: $3 ½ hour to one hour: $4 Up to two hours: $5 Two to 10 hours: $6 Overnight: $10
