The undergraduate leadership training program, Quest, is an intensive two semester training program. The first semester focuses on theory and skills, while the second focuses on practice, challenging students to take on projects and exhibit leadership in the real world. Skills learned include public speaking, event planning, goal setting, teamwork, improvisation and fundraising as well as other elements related to management and leadership. To help the fellows stay focused on the importance of their work and the values driving their leadership, the Quest II experience culminates with a mission to Israel on which participants work on volunteer projects and meet with a diverse cross section of Jewish communities and their leaders. Quest fellows take these experiences and build on the lessons learned to create their own programs and events.
