Applying for Financial Assistance:

Families who would like to be considered for financial assistance must file the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) application by May 1, 2012. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered based on fund availability. Families must also submit a copy of their 2010 Federal Tax Return to the Office of Student Accounts to complete their application.

• File the PFS (Parents’ Financial Statement) by going to http://sss.nais.org by May 1, 2012. Follow the instructions to complete a PFS online. Please contact the Office of Student Accounts at 212-960-5400, ext. 5086 for a paper form, if filing online is not conveinent. The school code for Yeshiva University High School is 2461. The application fee of $35.00 should be paid by credit card upon completion of the online application. If payment by credit card poses a problem for you, contact the Office of Student Accounts for alternatives.
• The same PFS can be used for up to three children who attend Yeshiva University High Schools.
• In the “Notes” section, question 32, indicate any special circumstances you may have.
• The Parent Financial Statement must be completed each year in order to receive assistance. Grants are subject to change based on fund availability.
• Submit a complete copy of your 2010 Federal Tax Return by May 1, 2012, to:

Guidelines for Awarding Financial Assistance to Yeshiva University High Schools Students:

• High School Grants are awarded to incoming and continuing students who show financial need as determined by the Parent Financial Statement and Federal tax returns, and based on academic performance.
• High School Academic Scholarships are awarded by the Heads of School of the High Schools to superior academic students when they initially apply and enroll. These scholarships will continue as long as the student maintains the high level of achievement expected of an Academic Scholarship recipient.
• The Sallie Mae K-12 Family Education Loan is a private, credit-based loan that allows parents to cover the entire cost of their child's education in private primary and secondary schools. To learn more about this loan, please click here.
