Pollack Library - Landowne Bloom Collection

Pollack LibraryUndergraduate programs at Yeshiva College and the Sy Syms School of Business (SSSB), and the graduate programs of the Wurzweiler School of Social Work (WSSW), are supported by the Pollack Library’s collection of books, periodicals and audiovisual materials.  The Library occupies levels 2 through 3A of the Mendel Gottesman Library Building,  located at 2520 Amsterdam Avenue, between 185th and 186th Streets at the Wilf Campus. The Library also collects relevant non-Judaic materials in support of the University’s Jewish Studies programs, especially those of the Bernard Revel Graduate School.

The Library provides introductory material of interest to general readers in areas that are not directly related to the curricula of the schools which it serves.

Online Resources
A large number of online resources, including databases and indexes, e-journals and e-books, are available in the library for research purposes. Off-campus access to these resources is provided to current Yeshiva University students, faculty and staff who have registered at their campus library. Dissertations and Integrative Essays
The Library maintains a collection of WSSW doctoral dissertations as well as other dissertations of interest to WSSW students. Additionally, WSSW integrative essays, or final masters’ projects, completed over the last five years are collected by the library. Lists of the essays are found in binders on the index tables. Dissertations and essays can be requested at the Circulation Desk.

Government Documents
As a United States Government Documents depository, the Library receives selected government publications of interest to both the immediate University community and to the community at large.

Government documents received by the Library include the Statistical Abstract of the United States, the Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States, and America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being.
