Hedi Steinberg Library

hslUndergraduate programs at Stern College for Women and Sy Syms School of Business, and graduate programs of the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Adminstration and the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, are supported by the collections of books, periodicals and audiovisual materials at the Hedi Steinberg Library, located at 245 Lexington Avenue near 35th Street at the Beren Campus. The Library provides introductory material of interest to general readers in areas that are not directly related to the curricula of the schools which it serves.

Online Resources
A large number of online resources, including databases and indexes, e-journals and e-books, are available in the library for research purposes. Off-campus access to these resources is provided to current Yeshiva University students, faculty and staff who have registered at their campus library. Children’s Literature and Teaching Materials
The Library houses over 1,000 children’s books, ranging from picture books to novels and nonfiction for young adults. Both Judaic and general titles, including many classics, are available. The library also collects pedagogic materials for teaching reading, science, music, the Holocaust and other subjects.
