The Program for Jewish Genetic Health, a joint initiative between Yeshiva University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, was established with the vision that nobody in the Jewish community facing a genetic health issue should be deprived of proper care due to lack of awareness, financial barriers or difficulty in navigating the healthcare system.
Through its relationship with Yeshiva University and with Einstein and its affiliates, the Program uniquely integrates Jewish communal responsibility, clinical services, genetic education, and biomedical advances.
Our philosophy revolves around servicing the Jewish community and listening to its needs, with the ultimate goal of protecting its health and the health of its future generations. We view the community as an active partner in this mission, and we are prepared to evolve and adapt as community needs grow and change.
