COMPUTER SECURITY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY 

Information Technology Services and the Office of Information Security take all possible measures to protect the University Network and shared computing resources.

 

All users must help protect their own computers, other computers in the University and the Network itself.

 

ITS will perform periodic compliance audits to ensure that computers continue to be patched.

 

Should you have any questions regarding, Microsoft Update, Symantec AntiVirus software, viruses, etc. please feel free to ask for support at one of the following:

Student Assistance:
Students can get assistance on the Wilf and Beren campuses by contacting the ITS support staff for Academic Computing.

There is also a special e-mail address for help in student labs on both the Wilf & Beren Campuses:labhelp@yu.edu.

Students on the Jack & Pearl Resnick campus at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine can get assistance by contacting the Department of Computer-Based Education support center, or calling (718) 430-2870.


Remember, it's everyone's responsibility to protect individual computers which, by default, protect others as well.
