Fall Blood Drive

The Einstein community, through its blood donations and volunteerism, has joined thousands of others in the greater metropolitan area to help address critical blood supply needs.

The New York Blood Center is always in need of donations, especially as we approach the winter season.  Once again we will work with our partners at the Hudson Valley Blood Services to host a blood drive. The drive will take place on Wednesday, November 4th from 8:30AM until 6:00PM in the Glass Café in the Forchheimer Building. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sandi Sam via e-mail at sandi.sam@einstein.yu.edu at your convenience.

Blood donors and Drive Captains that participate in the drive, will be entered into a prize drawing.

Thank you for your support!

Dear Participants of the Yeshiva University Retirement Plans:

The Human Resources Department is pleased to announce a series of retirement education workshops offered by Prudential Retirement. These workshops are intended to assist you with developing your retirement planning strategy. According to Prudential, people today spend more than 20 to 30 years in retirement so planning can never start too soon.

Please refer to the attached flyer to review the course listings and register for any one or all of the workshops that apply to your personal circumstances.

If you would like to attend a workshop, you will need to pre-register by visiting http://tinyurl.com/retirementworkshops. Please register as soon as possible as seating will be limited to 25 people. We hope to repeat this and other workshop series again in 2010.

Tools For School Drive

A big thanks to the Yeshiva University community for supporting our "Tools for Schools" drive!  We received over 350 donations of all types of school supplies, including back packs, calculators, composition books, spiral notebooks, notebook filler paper, crayons, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, etc.

Your generous donations provided children at public elementary schools P.S. 83 Donald Hertz (Bronx), P.S.  115 Alexander Humboldt (Washington Heights) and the Henry Street Settlement (Lower East Side) with needed school supplies.

Thanks again for your generous support!!
