PAST EVENTS
The Yeshiva University Center for Israel Studies sponsors cutting-edge scholarship and organizes international colloquia, museum exhibitions and public programs as part of its mission.
In 2009, the Center hosted a major international conference exploring the dynamic, evolving relationship between India and Israel, as well as a conference exploring the concept of power in the Jewish experience.
Other highlights of our recent activities include:
- The Israel Studies Distinguished Visiting Scholars Program, with participants Lawrence H. Schiffman (NYU, Yeshiva College); Vivian B. Mann (The Jewish Museum, JTS, Stern College for Women); and Frank Peters (NYU, Yeshiva College)
