YU CareerLink contains job listings for full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities. All undergraduate students and alumni from YC, SSSB and SCW can submit resumes, cover letters, and other job search documents directly to employers.
On-campus recruitment activities and schedules for current students (predominantly seniors throughout the academic year and juniors in the spring) can also be managed online. In addition, CDC events and workshops are listed for students, and online sign-up is recommended to reserve a space. Once you log in, there are detailed video instructions on how to use the system indicated by this icon:

On-Campus Recruiting Overview
Resume Books
Resume Books are listed under the "Documents" tab on YU CareerLink. They allows the CDC to send your resume to employers on your behalf. Submit to the appropriate book(s) based on the semester and industry of your choice (e.g. “Spring 2009 Finance Internship”). All resumes MUST be approved by a CDC counselor either through a walk-in or scheduled appointment. Please note that you still must apply directly to posted positions of interest. Resume books are ONLY sent to a select number of employers.
Basic tips on how to use YU CareerLink:
- Current students: In your YU e-mail account, you should have received an email from the CDC containing your username (which is your YU email address) and your randomly assigned password. You will be able to reset your password once you are in the YU CareerLink system. If you no longer have this email, please contact the CDC for a new password.
- Alumni: Contact the CDC for more information on accessing your account.
Getting Started
- Click the link above to log in.
- Enter your username (your YU Email address) and password.
- When you enter the site you will be prompted to complete your User profile and upload your resume. You may search for jobs by clicking the “Jobs” tab at this point, whether or not you upload a resume.
Searching and Applying for Jobs
- On the Tabs above your Welcome page, click “Jobs” (Notice there are “YU CareerLink Jobs” and “NACELINK Network.” YU CareerLink jobs are specifically posted for YU students, but you can search both for opportunities.)
- Once you have found a job you are interested in, click on the job title.
- If you wish to apply, follow the instructions under "Application Status" on the right hand side of the screen. Some companies will allow you to apply directly through the YU CareerLink system, while others will prefer that you apply via email, fax, or the organization's website. In order to apply through YU CareerLink, you need to upload a resume (click "Add new" if you don't already have one in the system).
- Choose the resume, cover letter, and/or any other requested documents that are appropriate for the application and click “Submit.” (Note: If a cover letter is not required, just cut and paste into the Notes text box.) Your application will be sent directly to the employer.
