CAREERS IN MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS
Monday, November 23rd: 8:00pm: Gottesman Boardroom (Beren Campus)
The field of communications is vast, with many varied opportunities. Come to this panel to hear about several intresting options. Professionals from companies as diverse as NBC, The National Jewish Outreach Program, Beckerman Public Relations, Yeshiva University's Department of Communications, and Atlantic Pictures will discuss their experiences and where the job opportunities exist for college graduates. 


WALL STREET CONNECTION SERIES: HOW I LANDED A JOB IN FINANCE
Monday, November 30th: 7:00pm: Furst Hall, Room 501
Hear from recent alumni about their experiences obtaining their first full-time position in the field of finance. Listen to an informative panel and then network with recent graduates. Co-sponsored by the Finance Club, SSSB Student Council and Alumni Affairs.


HOW TO CHOOSE A MAJOR

An experiential workshop for students unclear as to which subject or discipline to choose as a major. Explore majors and the world of work through your interests. Co-led by an academic advisor and a career development counselor from the Beren Campus.

It's that time of year! You need to start thinking about your summer internship. Believe it or not, employers are starting to look for summer interns earlier and earlier. Don't miss out because you've missed a deadline! Learn about the various techniques you can employ to maximize your chances of landing that internship.


MATH IN THE REAL WORLD: A PANEL DISCUSSION
Monday, December 7th, 8:00pm: Furst Hall, Room 535
Listen to a diverse group of panelists discuss their varied career paths. They were all mathematics majors, but took different paths. Learn about actuarial work, teaching, finance, business development and academic research. Co-sponsored by the YC Mathematics Club, SCW Mathematics Club, and Alumni Affairs.
