SPOTLIGHT ON

Dr Gerald “Lazer” Friedman, Toronto
“YU is a microcosm of the Jewish community, and offered numerous opportunities of interacting with differing viewpoints and ideologies. Respecting differences and building on common bonds was a most valuable experience in helping shape my own approach in dealing with people and my community.”
Dr. Friedman, a YU alumnus, is chief of pediatrics at York Central Hospital, Toronto.
