Rebecca Ivry Department of Jewish Studies

 All women enrolled in Stern College for Women or Sy Syms School of Business participate in a program of Judaic Studies offered through the Rebecca Ivry Department of Jewish Studies. Classes are offered on various levels to accommodate students with different skills and backgrounds and provide intensive analysis of classic texts in the Hebrew and Aramaic originals. Students take classes in Bible, Jewish History, Jewish Philosophy, Jewish Law, and Hebrew language with world-renowned professors and Rebbeim, leading to an Associate in Arts degree upon completion of all requirements.
