All Wurzweiler MSW Programs

 

MSW Viewbook

Prepare students for advanced social work practice in casework/clinical settings, group work, or community organization.

Two years to complete full-time, but can be extended to a maximum of four years.

Holders of BSW degrees from CSWE accredited schools can complete in 14 months.

 

 

Concurrent Plan

Traditional weekday plan

Early September to mid-May

Divides the week between classes and assigned field work

 

Plan for Employed Persons (PEP)

 

For those already working in approved agencies and who are seeking professional advancement.

Classes one evening a week and on Sundays, September to mid-May.

Field instruction at workplace.

 

Block Education Plan

Eight weeks of classes during June and July

September through mid-May field placements in students’ home communities

International student body

Work-study option available.

 

 

Interdenominational Clergy Plan

 

Open to ordained or certified clergy of all faiths (and their spouses, where applicable)

A portion of field work can be done in their religious institution

Specialized weekly seminars provide field work supervision

 

 

Joint MSW-JD Plan

 

Combined MSW with a degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Joint degree takes four years to complete

 

 

Certificate in Jewish Communal Service

Prepares students for practice and administration in Jewish communal organizations.

Students take three specialized elective courses as part of their master’s studies.

 

 Joint MSW - M.DivPlan

Combined MSW with a Masters of Divinity degree fromYale Divinity School

Joint degree takes four years to complete
