Dani Eckstein from West Hempstead, NY, came to Sy Syms after spending a year and a half at Yeshivat Shaari Mevaseret Tzion in Israel. He is currently a senior majoring in Finance and is active in the Sy Syms School of Business where he deals daily with many academic and student issues. Dani has also planned many events for Sy Syms such as the first Sy Syms School of Business Bowl, a stock market trivia contest for high school students, which he coordinated with a student from Stern and has become a yearly event. Dani was Founder and President of the Sales and Trading club where he brought down many speakers on topics such as “Job in Trading” and even organized an options trading seminar in YU. Dani has spent the last few summers working for a commodity trading company, in Switzerland and London as well as working on the NY Mercantile exchange and interning at Merrill Lynch. He is also a volunteer for Yachad.
