CJF Summer Kollelim
Continuing a tradition of bringing kollelim to various Jewish communities around the country, the CJF has established four distinct summer kollel programs, each offering very different experiences to appeal to a broad range of Yeshiva undergraduate and RIETS students.
According to CJF Dean Rabbi Kenneth Brander, the purpose of the CJF kollelim is threefold. They are designed to “infuse the student body with leadership qualities, empower Jewish communities across America, and celebrate the Torah of Yeshiva University.” Students involved in the kollelim are also given a valuable opportunity to harness their creativity under the guidance and mentorship of roshei kollel, CJF staff, and expert rabbis.
This summer’s kollelim will take place in Los Angeles, Denver, Edmonton, Teaneck and Israel. We are grateful to these communities for the work and preparation they have done to help establish these kollelim.
