• Faculty

The scholars and practitioners who comprise Azrieli's premier faculty are the driving force behind our mission to advance the Jewish future by training the next generation of educators. Professors provide students with unique opportunities for study, collaborative research and mentoring in a broad array of academic and pedagogical disciplines. A low student-faculty ratio provides our students with the individual attention that prepares them for teaching and leadership positions in Jewish schools and communities all over the world. Committed to the twin goals of teaching and scholarship, our faculty members lecture, counsel, write on both visionary and practical subjects and lend their time, skills and expertise to educational conferences all over the world.

Azrieli faculty members also serve as senior fellows in the Institute for University-School Partnership. This provides faculty with practical applications of their expertise: they partner with schools to provide professional development that produces sustained improvements in the educational experience and student outcomes. The schools benefit from their wisdom and expertise, and the faculty is enriched by interacting with schools as living laboratories from which important research trends and best practices emerge.

Each faculty member provides Azrieli students with access to a depth of collective experience unique in a graduate school of education. The combination of extraordinary academic achievement and a singular focus on advancing Jewish education is why we consider our faculty to be the heartbeat of Azrieli.
