Perkowski
Patryk Perkowski is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University. His research is centered at the intersection of information technology, human resource management, and causal inference. As advances in machine learning, human resource management systems, and job platforms transform how firms compete for talent, Professor Perkowski's research examines the causes and consequences of these changes to understand how firms can use their human capital as a source of competitive advantage, and how workers can thrive in the modern economy. Additionally, he is interested in introducing new methodological tools for empirical business research. His research has been published or is forthcoming in leading management and economics journals including Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, and The Review of Economics and Statistics, in addition to general interest outlets such as the Harvard Business Review. Prior to joining Yeshiva University, Professor Perkowski was a Postdoctoral Scholar in Business, AI, and Democracy at Columbia Business School, where he also received his PhD.
