Vladimir Kovtun joined Yeshiva University as a Research Fellow in 2013 after receiving his phD from NYU Stern School of Business. He became an Assistant Professor of Information and Decision Sciences at Sy Syms beginning the Fall of 2017. Vladimir's current research interest lie in the intersection of time-series and supply chain management. He is studying the value of different types of information sharing in supply chains where firms use modern time-series models to forecast demand. His past research interests include data-mining and high-dimensional data. His published work can be found in Biostatistics and Naval and Research Logistics. At Yeshiva University, Professor Kovtun has delivered courses in Business for Statistics, Quantitative Methods, and Business Intelligence and Consumer Insights.
